If after 6 years your credit card debt is written off then does your credit rating get also better?
What are the consequences after 6 years? am not planning on getting another card or anyting so shud i just wait it out? am on the sixth year anyway so is it better to let it be written off? what wont i able to do ifafter 6 years my credit card debt is written off?

It can take 7 to 10 years for credit blemishes to be wiped out. you will probably have to get a secured credit card or high risk credit card, take out a small secured loan, or something of that nature to begin rebuilding your credit history.
