How do you remove the smell of diesel from your washing machine?
My boyfriend is a lorry driver and today he spilled diesel over himself so when he got home he put his jeans and jacket in the washing machine. he took them out and the machine now stinks of diesel. i have put the machine on a quick wash with a lot of powder in it to try and remove the smell and the door has been left open for the last 2 hours but it still smells of diesel in there. i am worried now that when i wash our clothes they are going to come out smelling of diesel as the smell is so over powering. does anyone know how to get the smell out of the machine its also in the tumble dryer now too :o( please help!!
