Any one out there know of any music software i can use to take the voice or the tune out of mp3s or wav files

Is not that what karaoke recordings are all about...you get the song but supply the vocals. i think taking the vocals out of a mixed down recording might be nearly impossible unless you got a hold of some fancy equipment.
