I need new plates, front and rear. theres a postal strike so i can forget about getting one of the online companies to make up new plates. my car failed mot on it is plates. and no, they are not altered to space out special word or anything, as they are same plates i got with the car brand new. it is that new mot regulations which came in this month (1st oct 2007) means number plates have to have british standard mark and the name and postcode of the plate supplier. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/210559/registration_plates.html any suggestions on where i could try to get new plates done tomorrow? thanks.

Some halfords do them you have to take your registration documents to prove you have the right to request the new plates.
