I know this is really going to be a dumb question but.....does anybody know what this years car registration letter for the uk is?and what will next years registration letter be?im buying a new car this year or after xmas and need to find out what the registration will be to get a car insurance quote before buying it etc.....

It changes twice a year. this years is 06 and 56. next year will be 07 and 57.
