How to build a den for a boy?

A shed no doubt would be best. wouldent look girly then and he could even sleep in it on hot summer nights. but if you dont want a shed... an attic or an basment would do?. also you could do something like a bigger play house and make sure it dosent have that girly look by painting over it with a more masculine colour.. like dark blue. cos that play houseis more baby blue :z.
