If you run a mile,do you burn off more calories than if you walk the same distance?!?

uses less energy because you do it quicker. it may seem like more but you are just using the readily available emergency energy. running
utilizes the spring in your muscles and the ruthm of your weight.
walking requires prolonged constant muscle activity and gives time to draw from the long time stores (fat)
