I reckon its the ibm/lenovo thinkpads. anyone disagree? i would like to run opensuse 10.1 on it.

I would have to agree that ibm is the best. i like my t23 ibm. ibm seems to have one of the best support web pages. i recently worked on a friends toshiba and was very much impressed with there support page and with the computer overall. so i would say toshiba is a close second. i dont really like dell they are overrated cheap crap!! compaq is okay but not at the top of the class either and hp has crappy support as does compaq!
