Yes there is a fair amount of weather issues in the science news - some are appropriate like the stories regarding global warning. the default feed is ap, but there is other options available on science like reuters, space.com, livescience.com and npr - some of these focus on a lot more than weather. there is also the customizable "my sources" where other science news from the bbc, usa today and cnn etc. can be added.
