Harmony in music is so powerful and evocotive. how do i
learn advanced technique and theory?
I programme dance music with cubase. have found the power of harmony recently but want to know more!

Well it is a start i suppose.i have been at it for about twenty years, playing i mean, and it is naturally acquired by the time you get to book four of whatever course you take if you have a leaning towards it.i admire your tenacity with a sequencer but only half that effort would be required to actually play. so how can you learn?buy a reasonable keyboard and listen to assisted base chords that come from any chord you play.one finger will give you something and four digits gives you the works. but it goes deeper.buy any oldie from the freshmen, george shearing, or charlie bird. they will inspire you beyond your dreams if you are under 40 years.music, harmony, harmonics are all a part of presentation where the player can play his heart out, and i mean just that.the feeling you have inside goes into your ears as your fingers look or feel for more aural pleasantries.come on man you are a natural corked up in a bottle using a sequencer.get out there and play.ps thanks for the question i am wasting my time here. still i could do both when winter comes.
