If your looking to get trained in the it side of health care it depends on which country your from. in most western countries you will see windows xp/2000 used on all the computers. unix may be used on the servers ( large facilities and older facilities). as for the medical equipment itself you would need an appropriate degree/certificate to operate it (eg an x-ray machine has its own software).
