Security in shops?
Im just curious but if someone steals something in shops and the alarm goes off cant they just walk away?or if they actually do that do their faces get logged on the cameras and the security guards look if they come in the shop again? or is it just totally forgotten about if they get away with it?(im not planning to steal anything)so if i walked out of the shop and it beeped on me and no guard came up to me the cctv would not be looked at at all?
Answer
Theres criteria for shop or security to follow if they stop someone for shoplifting its remembered as scone.1.selection (picking up item)2.concealment(hiding item)3.one hundred % observation(of person)4.non payment5.exit (they must leave shop not bypass till)if these are not followed and a person is falsely stopped the member of staff or security could be breaking the law themselves as security have no more powers of arrest than a normal person in the street ( citizens arrest) but they can keep your image on file for future reference.
