Ive had my guitar for a few years now and i think its about time to buy a replacement but im a little strapped for cash (being a student and all). im looking for a shop that stocks factory second guitars (preferably takamine) or perhaps nice condition used, either online or in north-west england.

Check sites such as musicians friend for closeouts, scratch and dent, and similar sales. also ask on the phone and b and c stock - same thing. most factories repair things before they leave - they do not let things out with poor quality, because it is their reputation on the line. i had an old fella who built for ovation, and that was his info, way back then. woodwind/brasswind was bought out by a huge outfit called guitar something - my daughter=in=law teaches guitar, and she told me - the bigger the place, the more likely you are to get a deal.
