Do you blindly follow chart music like a slave to the men in suits?

I like a wide range of music, mainly old. love the jam, the clash, the klf, visage, depeche mode, roni size, fresh, lab4. most of them either made the charts once, but in the 70/80s, and others are so small that they never have.
