Does anyone know what food items are allowed to be carried in luggage for travel to bulgaria?

traveling to a town with only one little shop and want to take some supplies with me.

I think that you may take food items but you will have to declare them at the customs.
all food must go through the x-ray machine. food must be wrapped or in a container.
