I have got this policy due for renewal mid august. will i be able to go to a new insurence company? and will i have a 1 years no claims bonus, ive not had any crashes etc. the call centre really is unhelpfu and not uk! they dont understand me! i have seen some much cheaper quotes elsewhere!

Hi, i work for an insurance broker in the uk and the only problem is with the 10 month bonus accelerator is that it is not 1 yrs no claims bonus, it is 10 months claim free driving. some companies will accept it as a year and allow you to use that discount as a years no claims bonus. but others wont and you will have to start again on a yearly policy. . . go to a broker in the uk and say that is what is happening and they will match you with a company that will use your 10month claim free driving as a years no claims bonus. hope this helps
