How does swimming help muscle gain? is it worth doing it if i wanna gain muscle and exercise

Swimming is a great sport for a number of reasons and is defiantly worth doing if you enjoy it. first off it will give you a good cardio workout so you will burn calories. it will also increase muscle tone, mainly your chest (pecs), upper back, shoulders and arms. you will also notice some improvement in your core body (abs, lower back etc.) strength.
