Band g only applies to cars first registered on or after 23rd march 2006. if a car was registered between 1st march 2001 and 22nd march 2006 inclusive the maximum band is band f - therefore even if the co2 emissions are greater than 225g/km, the tax will still be charged at band f prices.that is why there is no top limit for band f in the table.it also means there is no such thing as a 2005 reg band g car.
