Hi i was married and had a little boy with my wife a few yearsw ago i was 22 she died at hospital 6 months after my son was born as she had ovarian cancer! i was wreckless with my credit after she died as i drank alot and cared for nothing! now 4 years later remarried with my 4 and a half year old son and 8 month old daughter i wanted to get a credit card but have been refused by capital one and vanquis! i have took out a loan through my hsbc account of £1000 and the lady in the bank said in 6 month after being good with my repayments i could get a hsbc credit card would i be approved as she also said my in bank credit scare was quite high?

Hi,so long as you keep up the repayments on the loan your credit rating will go up.have been in debt through unemployment & was amazed at how quick my credit rating went back up.nice luck to you & your new family.
