My credit card has been cloned 3 times - twice in the past 6 months.?

It is mainly used for groceries at reputable stores & rarely on the internet. i am extremely careful with the card & dont let it out of my sight, & i follow all the guidelines that are supposed to prevent fraud. im worried that this is an inside job or maybe the post office. i have spoken to the credit card company who said it is being investigated but am worried that if it happens again i wont be covered. has this happened to somebody else? what can i do? (each time tha card is stopped & a new card with new card number is issued)
Answer
Cards are cloned at source using a skimming machine. this means that the merchants who swipe your card may have a machine installed by a staff to record all transactions. these transactions are then downloaded and uploaded to a blank card. then you come up with a cloned card. i suggest you watch whoever swipes your card if it is swiped in another machine aside from the pos machine.
