Windows movie maker is nice - you can download it for free. but if you mean actual music maker programs magix music maker is nice - its expenive but if u get it from ebay u can save around 50 pounds (not sure of its price now) i bought it off ebay for 5 pounds total and it comes with 4 cds and is nice for making your own music. but from ur question it sounds more like you want to add music/sounds/narration to video. so for that windows movie maker or adobe premiere pro but thats expensive and does basically the same this as wmm.
