Hi can anyone help..im currently getting kid tax credit..i have just recived a notice stating that im now getting working tax credit and i understand this to be fraud..anyone has hijacked my ni nuber and made a clim for working tax credit in my name ..they have also blokeged to change over my bank detail to a bogus account that they will use to get my money..any wany all my payments of kid tax credit have benn stopped while they look into this problem of fraud..does anyone know the proceduer and how long it will take to sort out as i have no money at the moment..the inland rev will not tell me nothing except it is being delt with..this is a very worring time for me is im finding it stressful it wouldnt be to bad if they were to let me know what is going on..can anyone help

Omg thats shocking! i suggest you go to your local tax office and see someone in person. explain whats happened and that you need the money. they may give you a giro to cash at post office. they did this for me when they had a problem with their system and money was not going into my account.
