Is this a true story? i have heard it is of a battle between 300 spartans and 1 million persians and that the spartans win the battle? is this true? what kinda odds of winning is that?! thats like my home town of fat 40 year old men beating barcelona in a 2 legged footy match! lolthe movie looks awsome though, anybody agree?

I think it did happen, but i dont think that it would have been the way it was portrayed (with the gimp who leads the 80 foot tall man and his band of weirdos to fight). the thing that got me was the wizards and that big goliath thing that got its head sut off. i really like this movie!!! i cannot wait till it comes out on dvd!!
