Why do car prices end in ..995?
The majority of cars that are for sale at dealerships end in 995, for example £4,995 and £9,995 why? why cant they round it up? ive never seen a vehicle that is
a perfect round number.
Answer
It is sales psychology. the mind sees the 11995 and sees the 11 grand price tag rather than a fiver of 12 grand. it also allows the adverts to say buy the new feista for under 12 grand.
