There is somebody in my neighbourhood with a car alarm that wont quit. sometimes it can keep on going hour after hour. mostly late evening/night. is there anything i can do? any legal actions that i can take?

Contact your local authority and ask for enviromental health. you have a right to peace from noise and disturbance such as this between the hours of 11.pm to 7.am. they should act if the disturbance is a regular occurance. if you know the car owner provide the reg. details. if other neighbours (you could ask about) are also being disturbed...all the better...ask them if they would be happy to support your complaint with evidence also
