I have fitted a jvc g431 stereo for my car and fitted it with the iso connectors that the car was originally fitted with. this was pretty pain free and is working fine other than when i leave the car and switch the ignition off. now i understand i need to have a cable connected to enable it to run off the battery when not in use to store the settings, but with the iso installation im not really sure what to do? the only other wire that was there was one for the antenna. some help would be muchly appreciated, im hardly technical so be gentle!

Double check your wiring. the battery wire is usually black, it may not be connected properly.
