I went to look at some cars today at cargiant. i really want to get a saloon thats not too expensive to run and insure, and that is also luxurious. i like d the look of the mazda 6 but can anyone tell me if its any nice and if its front or rear wheel drive? i think i heard somehwhere its the same as an american ford car (cant remember the model). i also liked the saab 9-3, volvo s series and jaguar x type. any recomendations?

The fords are actually based on the mazda 6. they are front wheel drive _with awd available on the mazda 6 speed_. ford designed the fusion/milan off the same platform. when they added the awd to the fusion/milan, that also came from the mazda 6 speed. they are built in the same plant as the ford mustang in lansing michigan. the 2 main differences between the 2 are price and warranty. mazda tend to cost a little more and have a 4yr 50k mile warranty which includes a free transportation solution, where the ford has a 3yr 36k mile warranty. all the vehicle you mentioned are good models, so i would suggest to test drive each and find which feels the best to you. good luck.
