We are setting up an online shop selling greeting cards, handmade cards, gift wrap and thank you notes using yahoo small business standard package. is this a proffesional enough system. what is important to you when you buy greeting cards? choice, price, p&p, site layout, design?we want to make our site the best we possibly can and would love your advice.we are aware that there is competion in the market such as moonpig.com, dontforgetyourcard.com and remind4u.com how can we differentiate our company and is there is any weaknesses with the other companies mentioned.i realise this a long question but we would love any answers you can give us.

Yes i agree with the other respondant, you may want to rethink whether this is a good online business. the internet is a tough place to do business. i was in the middle of the dotcom crash working for massive billion dollar retailers and they didnt have a clue what they were doing. i cannot see myself buying such things online. the best ultra small online business i have seen is the resale of it books. you can sell at a 20% discount and still make a tidy profit. you have extremely loyal customers.
