Uk government requires specially designed seats for children under 12 who are also under 4ft.5ins. in height. this will be a great expense for many families. to what extent may this have been brought about through lobbyiing by the car seat manufacturers, who stand to make a windfall?surely this should be a matter of parental choice. the cost is not the most important issue.
