Once a deposit has been paid to purchase a car at a agreed price can the price be changed if company was wrong

Car purchase, with large company balence to be paid, salesman filled out forms incorrectly, and put on price that was a thousand pounds under the advitised price am i within my rights to deman d this signed upon price?
Answer
If the form was the original purchase contract, then yes, you are entitled to ask for the discounted price, as that was what was written down, signed and agreed to by both parties . the car dealer will still disagree/refuse to sell the car to you and it will more than likely end up in court. once you start proceedings they will more than likely give you the discounted price as it will be more expensive for them to contest it as well as bad publicity. this is my opinion only but a call to a motoring organisation, another car dealer not associated with the one your dealing with or a solicitor should point you in the right direction.
