Driven car in floods - how can i check car is ok?

I just had to drive my car through 1 to 2 feet of flood water a few times today. whats the best way to check that the car is ok and that nothing in the engine has been damaged? nothing obvious is showing, but i just wondered if there is anything else i can check to make sure ething is ok. i cannot really afford to take it to the garage unless i have to.
Answer
Ok sounds nuts but get out on the highway and floor it.if you get to 80mph with no hesitancy between shifts and with nice acceleration you know your powertrain is strong.second go to a deserted parking lot and slam on the brakes from 25 mph to a stop 3-4 times this will indicate brake problems through squeal or lock up.check all fluid levels before this check and dont do it on wet road.check all tire pressures are even and exactly 10psi away from max pressure indicated on sidewall.add gas/injector cleaner before roadtest.at next oil change add restore engine formula to motor , comes in 4,6, or 8 cylinder cans.
