When does a car or camper get classed as classic and become tax free i thought it was when it reached 25 years old but not sure if this is the case now

Hi...it is not tax free when a vehicle gets to 25 years old. the fact is, tax exemption only falls, for any vehicle that was first registered before 1973...thats it.
