I am a student and have run out of money, i also have bad credit!?

Its my fault, last year i had a run on credit cards and developed a bad credit rating and learned the hard way, while i can control money now, ive run out of my loan, i asked my bank holding my student account for an overdraft extension an they said no becuse of my credit score (i knew it would come an bite me in my ass). is there anything else i can do to cover me until my next loan payment? ive been out and applied for jobs, but all the local shops want people who can work over xmas when ill be going home, so ive been turned down (i do have a job over the xmas hols at home) is there a bank who might offer me an overdraft without credit checks, or someone who might know an alternative route would be much appreciated!im from lincoln uk. i know about these emergency funding options from the uni. i dont think my case is bad for that, i can still ask my mum - but things are complicated there as shes not working at the moment to care for my gran. as for these work a day companies, do you know where i can find out about any in my area?hey johndude, glad someone can sympathise with me - but honestly, dont try and open 2 student accounts. student accounts are checked, in the terms and conditions it states they must have your student loan deposited in and some ask for proof your other student account has been closed. if you blokeage to open one, they may close it if they find out, fine you, and in some cases its seen as attempted fraud or something like that.as for asking my mum - if i can find an alternate option, i will - the last think i can think of doing is asking my mum for money - so i would ask strangers yes =) but you all seem good, an i really value your inputs so far.
