Redundancy?

Eone at my work has received an email about briefing meetings about refinancing meetings the company has been doing. managing director is wanting to speak to eone in groups, asking eone to cancel meetings and holidays for that particular day in they are not available to be contacted by phone that afternoon. people who have been there years are saying etime they do this people are made redundant. i am panicking now incase i am one of the them. i am wanting advice, i have only bought a house and the first mortgage payment is in may. i am wondering if i go out there and get a job with the same or more salary than i am currently on, as long as my mortgage gets paid do i need to tell the mortgage lender? even though it is the first payment.
Answer
No you will only need to tell them if you are finding it hard to make the payments. if you have been there at your work for a while you will get a redundancy payment anyway usually worked out on a percentage of your monthy income times by how many years you have been there so this hould be enough to cover you for a month or 2!
