Hi guys. just twiddling my thumbs a bit at the minute! looking to buy a new house. had an offer in principle and a survey done around mid december. k copies to the solicitor and nothing seems to have happened since!! whats the next step likely to be? how long does it normally take for a formal mortgage offer? cheers, andy

If you are in the uk, it normally take about 3 months, if eextremely thing runs smoothly and you or the seller are not in a a chain. sometimes you have to nudge the solicitor along to get answers out of them. nice luck
