I have heard they are high 14%+. but i wonder if you have to be a resident or turkish to get this?...

No you dont have to be resident in turkey. the interest rate varies greatly. if its £ then its only about 4-5% but in ytl its far higher. its about 18% at the moment but again it depends how much you are putting in the bank, a freind of mine has over £250,000 in the bank & gets 23% pa. turkish banks are far differant from uk banks, the interest differs bank to bank & you can negotiate rates as well. many people come here to deposit there savings here for retirmant, far better than a uk pention plan
