I am a first time buyer - the vendor is going to give me my 5% deposit as he needs to move as soon as possible to europe. i have a mortgage agreed in principle with northern rock but they wont lend on blocks of flats above 5 high.our incomes are 30k and we have no debts or credit.i have spoken to a few mortgage brokers but they are unable to find somebody
