Hi, i am going to be selling my house because my mortgage payments have become unaffordable because of interest rates coupled with the added pressure imposed by council tax. i wanna find out where i can locate information on council tax bands by local authority area in the uk. i wanna compare and contrast the different areas.

There should be a website for whatever area you are looking at. on the website there will either be the bands and prices or a contact number to get them. they do vary a lot by area, here in the lakes they are cheap compared to a lot.
