What is a woosh test for broadband.?
I am having a nightmare trying to get a broadband connection with talktalk. the poroblem being that i cannot get a sync light on a modem, hence no connection to the internet, although i have tried several different modems.they all set up ok even the wireless router which i have currently installed.i have checked and replaced the in line filter and cable.talktalk insist the line is live and that they can see the signal transmitting to my address, (i only have one telephone point).they insist it must be my router which is at fault.after my second call to the belkin helpline they suggest that i requst a woosh test from talktalk. has somebody had a simillar experience, will this test prove that the signal is not reaching me. if not any suggestions .
