Are you having problems with broadband connectivity following windows xp updates. windows have ruined my life?
After these updates my clock was set back to 2002 my antivirus was turned off and i was disconnected. have you also had problems?
Answer
If the clock on your system changes it will upset most anti-virus programs (and other programs that auto-update).it is very unlikely that windows updates caused the date problem which then upsey your anti-virus.more likely your bios clock has reset (maybe the motherboard battery has given up the ghost). to change the dtae in bios you need to press the del key as the computer boots up to get into the settings (sometimes it is the f2 key - it will say on the boot up screen - try both anyway - or check your manual). then go into standard settings and correct the date and time. if you keep losing the date/time, replace the battery on your motherboard.
