Are some broadband providers not fully compatible with xbox live?
Because i have tiscalli and the internet connection always disconnects on its own and the router and xbox are in the same room.

Not that i know of. xbox live should be compatible with your broadband provider, unless the internet connection is super slow. that would cause a problem.
