Is broadband speed relevant when considering installing and using skype?
My broadband speed is only 500k/bits will i be able to send and receive video messages?

500k is not
bad. if you use skype, it will only use a portion of the bandwidth. normal voip uses 8 to 16k. it will just take a while to send video with the bandwidth it uses. you may be able to up the limit.
