I used to have blueyonder broadband which had nothing to do with my telephone line, are there any more providers like this? or is all broadband now adsl? thanx.

It sounds like you are in the uk.. blueyonder (or ntl/virgin) is the only cable company i know of. if you want cable again then give virgin broadband a call. make sure you specify cable as they do also do adsl over phone lines also.
