Using firefox2. since i installed bt broadband when i google i get "access forbidden by access control list"
Can somebody
tell me what access control list is? i assume it is
something in the bt program but no-one in bt broadband help seems to know what i am
talking about. they
say it must be a firefox problem.

What router are you using? can you access other sites? have your tried to access google using internet explorer?, it may be a firefox problem if you are able to access the site using internet explorer, another thing you could try is rolling back your pc to before you installed bt broadband, and try again, then if problem has cleared install bt broadband, if the problem is back again you can be sure it is a bt problem and you will need to speak to bt broadband technical help desk on 0845 600 7030. hope this helps
