Broadband via ethernet cable compared to wireless.?
What is the loss of speed amount to from a wired network as opposed to a wireless one- taking into account that the router and pc ( wirelessly) are seperated by one floor ( typical house) and i am using 8mb broadband. when using ethernet cable i get speeds of 6.5mb, so what speed would i get from a wireless adaptor?

It doesnt reallt matter but wireless seems to send and receive data in bursts, where ethernet is more of a constant stream. so if you are
into online games like me, a wired connection will result in better ping times.
