New lcd tv picture not as good as old conventional tv. would better scart leads make a difference?

I have a new 37" sony bravia l.c.d. tv but the picture quality is not as nice as my old 20" conventional tv. currently i have a basic sky box and a dvd player connected to the tv through a set of cheap scart leads.the dvd picture is perfect, cannot fault it but the sky channels are not as sharp and have a slight blurrynous sometimes. could the buying of better quality scart leads make much difference? oviously when you upgrade your tv you expect upgraded pics.any help or advice on this subject would be very much appreciated.
Answer
Well if the dvds are perfect when played and you are using the the same scart leads for connection then it is obvious that it is your signal is the cause of the fault get your satellite dish realigned
