Ok i lost a cheque it was signed dated etc but didnt have the payee on it because i wasnt sure who to pay , the problem is the bank wont stop going through unitl i tell them the exact amount it was for ? i really cant remember & have lost the details for exactly how much! surley they can still cancel it ??? ps i know there will be a charge & my bank is alliance&leciester

If you know the cheque number, they should be able to cancel it .
