It depends. if the account holder who has issued the cheque has their account at the same branch of rbos as you, then usually it only takes a day to clear.if the account comes from a different branch though (even of the same bank) it will take the normal time to clear.the only cheques that clean quickly are ones where both the accounts are actually in the same branch of the bank.
