My bank charged me 39 quid for not having in my account to pay a credit card direct debit.i put cheque in last week to pay this but didnt go trough in time!!do i have any rights or chance in getting this back.also does this mean that credit card will now charge me?

You can always ask for them to refund that, due to the circumstance that you did deposit your check last week. there will be a way of proving that, so just show them what happen.. sometimes depending on your bank history with the bank, the bank can give you what is called a curtousy credit. just call and ask about it and explain the situation.
