How long does a bank transfer take from the uk to the us?
Hi, i sent some funds to an american company on wednesday from a uk bank. does anyone
know how long it usually takes to be fully transfered? cheers

It takes a working day. all international transactions have to be made by what sometimes is known as chaps detailing swith code. as long as the transaction has been approved by the bank on that working day it will be in the us account by the end of the following day (sometimes even in the morning).i have to tell you though, charges vary but you could easily end up paying £25 for that transaction.i hope it helps
